Find Your Direction Workshop
Do you have a sense that something in your life is ready to shift?
You may have an inkling that you’re ready for change but maybe you’re not quite sure what, that is or where to begin.
In this one-hour workshop, Kate will guide you through a series of reflective exercises to help you uncover what’s really important to you, reconnect with your values and strengths and identify a meaningful next step.

"Not all those who wander are lost."
J.R.R. Tolkien

This workshop is for you if:
Sometimes we know we’re ready for something to change, but we don’t know exactly what that change needs to be. You might have been thinking about your next step for a while, but find yourself going round in circles rather than moving forward. This workshop offers a supportive space to pause and reflect on what’s calling you next.
- You feel stuck, unclear or uncertain about your next step
- You tend to overthink most of your decisions
- You sense there’s a next chapter for you, but you’re not quite sure what it is
- You’d rather explore what’s next thoughtfully and with some support, than try to figure it all out alone
"You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step."Martin Luther King Jr.
In this workshop you will:
The workshop is a chance to step away from the noise of everyday life and give yourself space to think.
Rather than trying to force yourself to make a big decision, we’ll slow things down and look at what’s really going on beneath your uncertainty. Through guided reflection and practical exercises, you’ll begin to understand what’s keeping you stuck and what might help you move forward.
- Understand why you feel stuck, and learn to tell the difference between fear, self-doubt and genuine uncertainty about your direction
- Explore the patterns of overthinking and self-doubt that keep you circling instead of moving forward
- Take part in a guided reflection to reconnect with what matters most to you
- Leave with a small, doable next step. Not a five-year plan, just a place to start.

What will I leave with?
You won’t leave with a five-year plan or all of the answers but you will have a clearer understanding of what’s been keeping you stuck, a deeper sense of what matters to you, and a small, practical step you can take from here.
The workshop will help you with:
Greater clarity about what’s really going on beneath your uncertainty
A clearer understanding of your personal values and what matters most to you
A stronger connection to your own strengths
A fresh perspective on the patterns that may be keeping you stuck
One small, meaningful next step to help you begin moving forward

Frequently asked questions
Is this workshop for me if I have no idea what I want to do next?
Yes. You don’t need to arrive with a clear goal or a specific decision in mind. The workshop is designed to help you explore what’s getting in the way of clarity and identify a possible next step.
Is this a career coaching workshop?
Not specifically. The workshop is relevant if you’re thinking about changing your career, but also if you’re considering starting a creative project, creating a change in your personal life, approaching retirement or simply feeling that you’re ready for something different.
What if I'm already pretty clear about what I want?
You may still find the workshop useful if you’re struggling to take action. We’ll explore the gap between knowing what you want and feeling ready to move towards it.
What if I can't attend live?
No problem. The workshop will be recorded, and you’ll receive access to the video afterwards so you can watch it at a time that suits you. You can also revisit the recording whenever you need a little space to reflect and reconnect with your direction.
