Kate James is a mindset coach whose teachings draw on the science and psychology of mindfulness. Her aim is to help you discover a greater sense of inner peace and a deeper sense of self-acceptance.

Kate shares research from mindfulness, Kristen Neff’s work on self-compassion and she draws on philosophies from positive psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

She will help you to create small but lasting changes to the way that you think. Changing how you interact with yourself and how you show up in your relationships can change your life.

Coaching sessions

Most clients begin with a single session and continue with a five-session program.

Mindset coaching fees

60-minute session: $275

Program fees

3 x 60-minute sessions: $795 (including an option to pay in instalments)

5 x 60-minute sessions: $1,250 (including an option to pay in instalments)

Kate’s background

Kate began coaching creatives, business owners and leaders in 2002. Her clients are people who have achieved a good degree of success in their chosen field but who still experience imposter syndrome, an inclination toward perfectionism or patterns of self-critical thinking.

With over 30 years of mindfulness experience, Kate shares tips about how to cultivate a mindset that is open, accepting and non-judgemental.

Kate has been hosting mindfulness retreats in Bali and Byron Bay for over fifteen years and she is the author of six best-selling personal development books including Be Mindful and Simplify Your Life and Create Calm.

As well as extensive reading, she has trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self-Compassion (Kristin Neff & Christopher Germer) and Internal Family Systems.
